1) Lenders pick a business or project on the h3o web site and make a loan using their credit card.

2) h3o transfers funds to local partners (MFI). Partner disburses loans to each business.

3) Over time, partner collects repayments and provides business updates at h3o.org

4) Funds are returned to lender. h3o lender may withdraw or re-loan.

h3o Projects - A new way to help!

h3o is also proud to offer the opportunity to make an investment in children's education by donating to the RISE school solar lighting project in the Migwani District of rural Kenya. In a region lacking access to electricity in the home and school, students struggle to keep up with their studies and only 8.3% of the population finishes a high school education. And of those, only 0.4% will make it to University. Empowerment comes through education, and by helping these rural communities harness the power of solar energy, h3o can offer rural students the chance to study for their exams well after sunset.

$2500 provides the necessary solar panel equipment for a school. Please consider sponsoring a school or contributing what you can to help this project succeed.
